Take Action:
How You Can Help
This campaign will only succeed if local voices are heard and the evidence cannot be ignored. Here are three ways you can help right now:
Write to decision-makers:
Email Tewkesbury Borough Council, Natural England, and our MP to:
Ask for full transparency over the Golden Hay decision
Request access to the 27 planning conditions
–Highlight the bat evidence and AONB status
Share your wildlife sightings:
If you see bats or other notable wildlife around Dumbleton and Golden Hay, record the date, time and location.
Send formal records to the Gloucestershire Centre for Environmental Records (GCER)
Email a copy to us so we can build the community evidence base
Stay informed and spread the word
Follow our updates and share them with neighbours and friends
Invite others to sign up for campaign news
Share photos of the fields and bats (where appropriate) with the hashtag #SaveDumbleton
Together, we can make sure that decisions about our countryside are informed, fair, and respectful of the wildlife that cannot speak for itself.
